Training Packages @ Work: Back 2 Basics vol. 2 is a document put out by the QLD state government. It is a free publication that explains the key components of the vocational education and training system, in simple terms. The publication covers a number of topics including recognition of prior learning, industry skills councils and VET in schools. The first volume is still available in hard copy and online at www.tpatwork.com/back2basics (login required) and the second volume will be available online in early 2006. The Australian Journal of Adult Learning is produced
by Adult Learning Australia, a national association whose
mission is to advance a learning society. Electronic and hard
copies of the journal can be purchased through Adult Learning
Australia's website. Adult Learning Australia also publishes
a quarterly newsletter, which can also be accessed through
the organisation's website.

VOCED
VOCED is a research database for technical and vocational
education and training and an international database of research
abstracts. The site also provides links to online journals
about vocational education and training. VOCED is produced
by the National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER)
and endorsed by UNESCO.

Journal of Vocational Education and Training
The Journal of Vocational Education and Training is a fully-refereed
international journal that publishes scholarly articles addressing
the development of practice and theory in work-related education.

Flex e-News is a monthly online newsletter published
by the Australian Flexible Learning Framework. Flex e-News
carries news of framework events and updates on new developments
