Industry Training Centres
The Department’s 11 Industry Training Centres provide
a range of services for employers, apprentices, trainees,
training organisations and the community. Centres are located
in Wollongong, Wagga Wagga, Orange, Tamworth, Lismore, Newcastle,
Chatswood, Parramatta, Liverpool, Bankstown and Sydney.
Industry Training Centre staff administer a number of the
Department’s VET programs in regional and metropolitan
areas, including the Contracted Training Provision Program,
the Mature Workers Program, the Apprenticeship and Traineeship
Program, aspects of the Migrant Skills Strategy, Disability
Programs and Aboriginal Programs.
